A little bit about me...
Working with people to buy and sell homes has been a lifelong dream of mine that has come true!
When I was 18, I told my father I wanted to be a Realtor....he said go get a degree. So I did! I have a BA in Special Education and a Master's in Educational Administration. I taught regular and special education for 9 years and worked the latter part of my career in leadership. Alongside this came marriage, kids, pets, life and a specialty cake business (I love to bake) and finally real estate.
I am one of those people who genuinely loves what I do! I often am with clients and feel so blessed to be helping them. NOW, it's not always perfect like you see on TV, that's why having a passionate advocate and problem solver on your side is VERY important.
I am an extremely authentic person with professional, yet fierce, negotiation skills to assist you every step of the way. After all, home ownership is one of your greatest financial instruments. The teacher in me likes to assist first time home buyers and sellers all the way to assisting seasoned veterans. There's always something to learn and apply....it's not just property, it's your HOME.
I have lived most of my life in the Midwest and specifically in Urbandale since 2004. I have a husband, two boys, and a golden retriever to keep life interesting. I am actively involved in my church, kids' school and the community in various ways. I started my real estate career in 2013 and have been full-time ever since.
